Service Description
From January to May, we run offshore expeditions into the open Pacific, in search of pelagic sharks. These safaris focus primarily on blue sharks and mako sharks, two of the most elegant and powerful predators in the ocean. Before entering the water, you’ll receive a clear briefing on how to move, what to avoid, and how to interact respectfully in their presence. Far from the coast, in deep waters, we create the right conditions to observe them, allowing sharks to approach naturally and on their own terms. With experienced guides in the water at all times, each interaction is carefully managed to ensure a safe and controlled environment. These encounters are not about adrenaline — they are about changing perception, building awareness, and witnessing these animals with a new understanding. Seasonally available from January to May. Snorkeling equipment is available if needed.
Cancellation Policy
Booking, Cancellation & Weather Policy To secure your reservation, full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. Cancellations by Guests * Cancellations made 14 days or more before the scheduled tour will receive a full refund. * Cancellations made 7–13 days before the tour will receive a 50% refund. * Cancellations made less than 7 days before the tour are non-refundable. * No-shows are non-refundable. Weather & Ocean Conditions The safety of our guests is our highest priority. If Ocean in Freedom cancels an experience due to unsafe weather or sea conditions, guests may choose to: * Reschedule to another available date, or * Receive a full refund. Please note that marine wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. Every safari is unique, and wildlife behavior is unpredictable. Guest Responsibility Guests are responsible for arriving at the designated meeting point on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened experience or be considered a no-show without refund. By booking an experience with Ocean in Freedom, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
