Service Description
Each winter, gray whales migrate to the protected lagoons of Baja Carlifornia Sur— one of the few places in the world where they approach boats out of curiosity. This experience takes place in Magdalena Bay, where encounters can feel surprisingly close, calm, and deeply personal. Every encounter is different, guided by whales behavior and the natural rhythm of the lagoon. Designed for small groups minimum of 4 guests. Snorkeling equipment is available if needed. Season: December to April. Best time: January to March. The price covers includes the expedition only. Accommodation and transportation are not included, but we're happy to arrange everything for you.
Cancellation Policy
Booking, Cancellation & Weather Policy To secure your reservation, full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. Cancellations by Guests * Cancellations made 14 days or more before the scheduled tour will receive a full refund. * Cancellations made 7–13 days before the tour will receive a 50% refund. * Cancellations made less than 7 days before the tour are non-refundable. * No-shows are non-refundable. Weather & Ocean Conditions The safety of our guests is our highest priority. If Ocean in Freedom cancels an experience due to unsafe weather or sea conditions, guests may choose to: * Reschedule to another available date, or * Receive a full refund. Please note that marine wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. Every safari is unique, and wildlife behavior is unpredictable. Guest Responsibility Guests are responsible for arriving at the designated meeting point on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened experience or be considered a no-show without refund. By booking an experience with Ocean in Freedom, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
